It’s the Bomb!

By January 4, 2018February 3rd, 2020No Comments

After bringing plenty of ice and snow to the southeast earlier this week, winter storm Grayson continues its frosty march up the eastern seaboard today. Tallahassee had its first measureable snow in 28 years and tropical storm strength winds battered the Outer Banks of North Carolina, courtesy of Grayson.

The northeast will get hit hard today with blizzard conditions possible from northeastern Carolina to Maine. A rapidly intensifying area of low pressure is responsible for this “weather bomb”, which will cause the system to strengthen. During this time things can get pretty crazy- high winds, blizzard conditions, even lightning are all possible as the system is bombing out.
